It seems to be what it says, but who really knows with an air filter?! Time will tell how it performs, but seems to be exactly what I wanted

this is the 4th order I have made with Tasmanian they have all been fantastic.

Perfect fit

No more wet campfire smell. We were evacuated from the wildfires and then had a solid 4 weeks of smoke. Everytime we got in a Y it smelled like a wet campfire was stashed under the hood. These filters remedied that. Looks and feels high quality. The deduction of a star is due to the confusing markings for installation. The stock filters have an arrow indicating air flow. The new filters have an arrow indicating "front" which is the opposite direction of the arrow on the stock filter indicating air flow. These could easily be installed backwards if all you paid attention to was the arrow direction. (usually an arrow on any air filter represents air flow direction).

Had my Model Y less than a year but decided to replace my filters with these due to all the wildfire smoke. I also used some Kool It to clean the coils. The removal and installation process could not have been any easier. Only tricky parts were disconnecting the 2 cables but just watch videos online and it’s super easy.

Only complaints are the tool is slightly different than shown online. The one online has a prong on one end and mine does it. Also a bit bummed as I was installing and adjusting the 2nd /top filter the tab came off. I guess I will deal with that when I try to remove it next time I have to replace them.

All new filters work well. A year from now I will find out the real value of this filter.
