Yeehaw! Elon Musk really knows how to throw a party! The founder of SpaceX and CEO of Tesla hosted a 'Cyber Rodeo' to celebrate the inauguration of the Tesla Gigafactory Texas facility at Austin. The company officially moved its corporate headquarters from Palo Alto, California, to Texas. Musk opened up the gigantic factory to over 15,000 guests that included Tesla owners, shareholders, and employees. "Our headquarters will produce thousands of cars faster than ever before, uniting robots and humans for the most efficient factory ever built," the company said, "With a simplified layout that's all under one roof, we're using less water, less energy and less space to accelerate the world's transition to a sustainable future." Giga Texas is where Musk plans to manufacture the unique Cybertruck starting in 2023, as well as the Model Y SUV.

The Gigafactory Texas Cyber Rodeo party was incredible! It was impressive to see all the thought that went into planning the event. There was live music, robots, food, games, fireworks, a drone show, even a Tattoo parlor, and a greenhouse petting zoo! Guests were welcomed to pet bunnies and other small animals, including goats. There were also outdoor games, mechanical bull riding, and food trucks providing free meals. The outdoor decorations were awesome. The company created an iteration of Nikola Tesla's electric coils that generated electricity to a musical rhythm outside the factory. Guests held up lights that looked like "lightsabers" that lit up when the Tesla coil released a lightning bolt.

Upon arrival, the company provided a brochure map of the event (pictured below) inside a gift bag with the Cybertruck logo that included: a 'Don't mess with Tesla/Texas' bandana, a Tesla brand water bottle, a 'Cyber Rodeo' logo patch shaped like the state of Texas, plus three food and drink vouchers. There were three stages playing Live music around the Texas Gigafactory -the outdoors 'Rodeo Stage', the 'Technoking' stage, and the 'Cyberspace'. Tesla allowed thousands of guests to roam freely around the factory to check out the "machines that build the machine." The building was filled with neon-color lights and suspenseful music as the robotic machines that manufacture Tesla vehicle components moved to the beat of the music. Throughout the self-guided factory tour there was free food and drinks for guests --there was even a bar! Austin-based musician Gary Clark Jr. played at the Giga Texas Cyberspace stage before Musk welcomed guests to the party (video clip below).

All of the company's electric vehicles were on display on the Gigafactory 2nd floor, including: Model S, Model 3, Model X, Model Y, and the old and new Tesla Roadster. The most popular model was the Cybertruck, everyone was excited to take a photo next to it. There was also a Tesla Optimus AI robot on display, right next to the Cybertruck.

The company had a spectacular drone show that left spectators in awe, video below. The drone show took place in front of the factory. Neon light drones flew in the sky forming the outline of the Texas state and the words "Cyber Rodeo." The drones also made the silhouette of the Tesla Model Y car and Cybertruck. The most surprising formation that made spectators smile was when the drones formed the face of the beloved Shiba Inu dog logo of the Dogecoin cryptocurrency. Musk's pet, Floki, is a Shiba Inu.

The company also showed a 10-minute video that showcased Tesla's accomplishments and products. "Tesla owners avoided 8.0 million metric tons of CO2 last year," the video said (linked below). Musk then took to the Cyberspace stage to welcome guests to the party and provide a glimpse into the Gigafactory Texas' future. Cyberspace featured a Tesla vehicle hung from the ceiling that is visible to spectators through the window as they drive along the highway in front of the factory. During the presentation, Musk revealed to the crowd the Optimus robot has "a shot at being in production for version one hopefully next year." He also mentioned that Tesla is also working on "a dedicated robo-taxi" that will look "quite futuristic."

Musk said Giga Texas is the most optimized factory in the world. The factory is arranged to increase productivity along the assembly line. He also discussed the Gigafactory's dimensions and shared that Giga Texas is the size of three Pentagons and can accommodate 194 billion hamsters! "If you put the building on its side, it's taller than the Burj Khalifa—that's to scale," he said, referencing the world's tallest skyscraper. The factory is 1,166 meters long VS. the Burj Khalifa in Dubai is 829 meters high. At the end of Musk's Giga Texas inauguration speech, Tesla's lead designer Franz von Holzhausen drove the Cybertruck on stage and they joked about smashing the window (video above). After their appearance ended, the party continued with a DJ playing music until midnight and the Gigafactory became a dance floor. Tesla also had a spectacular fireworks show outdoors to complete the inaugural celebration.
