This achievement was another important step in advancing the adoption of cryptocurrencies, Zhao noted. Binance Pay, Binance's cryptocurrency payment technology, allows users to make purchases in crypto or send crypto worldwide. It currently supports almost 50 cryptocurrencies including ADA, ATOM, AVA, BCH, BNB, BTC, BUSD, CTSI, DASH, DOGE, DOT, EGLD, EOS, ETC, ETH, FIL, FRONT, FTM, GRS, HBAR, IOTX, LINK, LTC, MANA, MATIC, NEO, OM, ONE, PAX, QTUM, STRAX, SXP, TRX, TUSD, UNI, USDC, USDT, VAI, VET, WRX, XLM, XMR, XRP, XTZ, XVS, ZEC, ZIL, and others.
In recent months, Binance has signed several partnership agreements aimed at introducing cryptocurrencies. Last month, the luxurious Palazzo Versace hotel in Dubai selected Binance as its cryptocurrency infrastructure provider. It also announced the adoption of cryptocurrencies for payments, allowing guests to pay for meals, lodging, and spa treatments using selected cryptocurrencies.
Entertix will not be the first to allow cryptocurrencies to be accepted for ticket purchases. The official mobile app of AMC Theatres, the world's largest movie cinema chain, allows users to buy tickets with Shiba Inu (SHIB) and Dogecoin (DOGE). Backed by leading cryptocurrency payment processor BitPay, AMC finally integrated Shiba Inu and Dogecoin payments into its website in early March.
