Tesla Cybertruck has been spotted on the manufacturer's test track in Fremont. The pickup truck had some minor design additions in the form of side mirrors and a windshield wiper. Ultimately, the owners will be able to modify Cybertruck and remove the side mirrors, Elon Musk says.

Two years have passed since the introduction of Cybertruck, and during this time it has undergone some changes. Most of them were within the car, but some also related to its appearance. In late October, Cybertruck was spotted with side mirrors that were not present in the original design. In addition, it was noticed that two headlights were placed on the front bumper, instead of one long one.

Recently, Chile Al100/YouTube spotted Cybertruck being tested on the manufacturer's track in Fremont. The electric pickup drove along the course several times, indicating important testing. In addition, it stopped several times, which made it possible to examine it in its new guise in more detail.

In addition to the previously seen changes in the headlights and side mirrors, Cybertruck has been fitted with a large windshield wiper. As Elon Musk said, the windshield wiper became what worried him the most. As it turns out, there was no easy solution to effectively clean such large glass and meet regulatory requirements. He shared his thoughts that a deployable wiper that stows in the front trunk would be ideal, but in fact, it is complex. Therefore, the way we saw the wiper on the tested Cybertruck is probably the final version that will go into production.

Update: Musk clarified that this look of Cybertruck is not yet the final version, which will go into mass production and there will be a few more tweaks before production.

There is no final date for the start of production at the moment, but this is expected to happen in late 2022. Despite this long wait, Cybertruck will undoubtedly be worth it.
