Tesla reported impressive production and delivery figures for the last quarter. The manufacturer delivered 310,048 vehicles in Q1 2022 despite supply chain difficulties and the worsening COVID-19 situation in China, according to the data.

Tesla said on Saturday that it delivered 310,048 vehicles worldwide in Q1 2022, the highest in the manufacturer's history. According to the data, Tesla delivered 295,189 Model 3/Y and 14,724 Model S/X.

In the first quarter, the manufacturer produced 305,407 vehicles, despite the ongoing supply chain problems that the industry continues to face. In addition, the work of Giga Shanghai was stopped due to the escalation of the situation with COVID-19 in China. Nevertheless, Tesla, as usual, has shown a great ability to find a way out of any situation in order to continue to feed the market with environmentally friendly cars. The company produced 291,189 Model 3/Y and 14,218 Model S/X.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk noted that it was “an *exceptionally* difficult quarter due to supply chain interruptions & China zero Covid policy” and sincerely thanked the Tesla team and the company's key suppliers who played a major role in achieving high production and delivery performance.
