Tesla Giga Texas is moving ahead with plans to begin production of the iconic Cybertruck. The company began recruiting for the production team, initially for the body shop.

Tesla Giga Texas has opened the hiring of employees for the production of Cybertruck, which is an important indicator of progress in this direction. First of all, the company is looking for a Manufacturing Operations Leader for Cybertruck. Other positions indicate the manufacture seeks employees to work on the Body in White (BIW) production line. Tesla is hiring:

• Dimensional Engineer
• Senior Equipment Engineer
• Dimensional Engineering Manager
• Equipment Engineering Manager
• Senior Equipment Engineer Robotics

It should be noted that all the positions listed relate to setting up and ensuring the correct operation of the production line of the basic stage in the production of Cybertruck. The body shop is one of the most complex production shops with a high degree of automation. In fact, the recruitment for these positions confirms that Tesla is starting the installation of the Cybertruck production line.

Cybertruck remains one of the hottest topics in the Tesla community. The start of its production is scheduled for 2023, so any information related to this is of great interest. In its earnings report for Q3 2022, the manufacturer released information that made its customers and investors very happy. According to Tesla's installed annual manufacturing capacity information, the production of Cybertruck was already in the tooling stage at Giga Texas. The hiring for positions related to the BIW production line confirms this.
