The popularity of the Tesla brand is growing rapidly. The manufacturer is recognized as the third most considered luxury brand in the US, according to a study by Kelley Blue Book.

At the end of each quarter, Kelley Blue Book publishes a result of the study called the Brand Watch Luxury Report. This report looks at consumer attitudes towards various luxury car brands that are available for purchase in the US. The Q4 2021 report shows that Tesla has moved up to the third place with a 3% increase in popularity compared to Q3 2021, which is a very impressive result. This demonstrates the strong and fast consumer focus on Tesla as one of the most attractive Luxury Brands.

Lexus takes first place and BMW is secon, still outperforming Tesla, but if the Texan manufacturer continues to gain popularity at the current pace, it will win first place next quarter. In Q3 2021, Lexus and BMW had a brand consideration percentage of 19%. In Q4, it reached 20%, representing a 1% increase, while for Tesla, this percentage rose from 15% to 18%.

"Tesla had the biggest increase in shopping consideration of any luxury brand in the fourth quarter, up three percentage points to 18 percent of all luxury shoppers looking at a Tesla," wrote Kelley Blue Book.
