The first carrier vessel loaded with Tesla Model S and Model X Plaid for customer deliveries has arrived in Europe. The first deliveries are scheduled for the near future.

Deliveries of Tesla Model S and Model X Plaid to Europe will begin in the coming days. @EstherKokkelman/Twitter has shared information that a carrier vessel carrying the long-awaited cars has docked in Zeebrugge, Belgium. The HOEGH TRANSPORTER left the port of Baltimore, USA on November 22 and reached Europe on December 4, according to Marine Traffic.

In mid-November, after the carrier vessel with the cars had left the US, Tesla announced that the first Model S and Model X Plaid cars would be delivered to customers in Europe in 2022. This was the first public official announcement of this highly anticipated event.

Prior to that, in October, several members of a German forum reported receiving calls from Tesla employees. During the conversation, the company's managers clarified whether the configuration of the car remains unchanged. If customers made no changes and agreed to receive delivery in Q4, then Tesla employees agreed on the address, place of delivery, and payment terms. The earliest delivery date was given at the end of November and the latest was in February.

Also, starting in mid-November, reports began to appear on the German TFF forums that some customers were being asked to pay for their Model S and Model X Plaid. Back then, the earliest delivery date for Model S Plaid, which was supposed to be delivered to Hannover, was from November 24 to December 4. For Model X Plaid, the earliest known delivery date was from November 30 to December 10.
