The new Tesla Roadster, a prototype of which was introduced in November 2017, has been declared the quickest mass-produced car in the world. Accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 1.9 seconds and a top speed of more than 250 mph, it perfectly matches its description. A SpaceX Options Package will obviously also take performance to new level.
The supercar in an aerodynamically-styled body will combine record performance with record efficiency, because its range is 620 miles. The Roadster also has seating for four and feature a removable glass roof.

The interior of the Roadster 2020, like any other Tesla, is minimalistic. The cabin is equipped with a giant infotainment screen as standard. The center touchscreen seamlessly integrates media, navigation, communications, cabin control and vehicle data into one intuitive interface. It is built right into the panel that connects the dashboard and the center console.
The Roadster is the first supercar to set every performance record and still fit seating for four. Two rear seats will be less than two front seats, but they can accommodate small adults, children, pets or serve as a place to store.
The highlight of the interior and exterior of the car is a lightweight removable glass roof. The Roadster passengers can enjoy a quick ride in the open air, enjoying direct contact with the wild wind.
The Roadster has a fairly high performance. The sportcar accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 1.9 seconds, and a top speed of more than 250 mph allows it to cover 1/4 mile in just 8.8 seconds.
In addition to these impressive features, the Roadster will have a SpaceX Options Package, which will use 10 small rocket thrusters to improve acceleration, top speed, braking and cornering. It will use high-pressure air in a composite over-wrapped pressure vessel bottle, with the air immediately replenished by the vehicle when power draw allows.
According to preliminary information, all-wheel drive will be standard on the Roadster. The main models of Tesla vehicles use two electric motors - one in the front and one in the rear - to provide all-wheel drive, so we expect the same setting to be in the supercar.
