Sun shadeeforTesla S

Appears to be good quality fabric. Comes in its own zippered case but NEEDS BASIC INSTRUCTIONS. I should NOT have had to go to You tube to figure out what to do. Is almost too large for the frunk. No instructions= only a 4star.

Fits Mach e perfectly

Bought panoramic roof sunshade for new Mach E mustang. Fits perfectly with easy to install clips. Significant reduction in sun exposure.

Mostly ok

The shade comes in two pieces with the seam down the middle. Included in the kit is a roll of Velcro tape to hold the two pieces together. To me, that looks tacky in my $50k car. Maybe most people wouldn’t notice it, but I did.

Interesting Idea - poor implementation of retention

The sunshade is actually two shades, a reflective sun shade, and a black mesh shade. You can install only the mesh shade, or also place the reflective sun shade on the top as well.

I was looking forward to using the shades, which are installed by gluing two magnetic steel disks to the glass roof (small magnets will then be used to hold the shade in place in the center of the roof to reduce sagging), and the placement of multiple small clips on the periphery that slide beneath the interior trip to hold the shade in place. In theory..... if the side clips had a better design they may actually work.

It all held in place for a day, then simply driving to my destination the magnetic disks fell off the center of the shade, and the resulting sag then resulted in all of the clips falling out. The result of the 'falling roof' was it then blocked all of my side and rear view. A very clear safety issue. I was able to safely pull over to the side of the road. If this would have happened on a busy street or at high speed the results may not have been as benign.

If the clips had longer tabs to fit under the interior trim, and perhaps another magnet, it might stay in place.
