Tesla creates tens of thousands of jobs in the US, so it deserves special attention. Elon Musk has now given Labor Secretary Marty Walsh a tour at Tesla Giga Texas where they discussed a range of topics including creating more jobs.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk hosted Labor Secretary Marty Walsh at the maker's new Texas factory on Sunday, Axios reported. The Giga Texas building is nearly complete, and the Model Y workshops are ready to operate. In recent weeks, hundreds of new cars have been seen parked outside the factory. Walsh's visit took place during the South by Southwest (SXSW) festival.

The Labor Secretary's visit to Giga Texas came just before the factory's scheduled grand opening on April 7. According to available information, the conversation lasted about 75 minutes and covered a wide variety of topics. The main issues raised during the meeting were inflation in the country, US innovation, and job creation in Texas. Musk has repeatedly voiced concerns about inflation in the US. In addition, he is an expert in innovation and for two decades has been developing the US with the achievements of his companies. His Tesla and SpaceX and other companies provide tens of thousands of direct and indirect jobs in the country. Musk said he wanted to continue the conversation with Walsh and it seemed that they really had a lot of topics to discuss.

South by Southwest is an annual event in March, an essential venue for professionals from around the world, featuring sessions, music and comedy shows, film screenings, exhibitions, professional development and many networking opportunities.
