Tesla CEO Elon Musk and his son X Æ A-12 were spotted at the Formula 1 race in Texas on Sunday. @lucagrecoita/X shared a video of the two watching the race at the 2023 Formula 1 Lenovo United States Grand Prix. The event took place from October 20 to 22, not far from the Tesla factory near Austin.

Later, several more photos and videos appeared showing Musk near or in a Tesla Cybertruck. The steel beast, along with the Musk family, has attracted significant public attention. In the footage you can see that the pickup truck was surrounded by a crowd, so event staff helped it leave. Another video, which was filmed from inside Cybertruck, also shows people smiling and admiringly looking at the pickup truck, taking photographs of it. Musk's son was clearly entertained by the positive and friendly faces as he waved to the audience from the back seat. Kind people waved back.

Musk's appearance with Cybertruck at the event was a huge advertisement for Tesla and the upcoming pickup truck. Seeing a car in person is the best experience to understand whether it really is as impressive as others say. The first deliveries of Cybertruck will take place in exactly one week at Giga Texas. Currently, the company has more than 1 million pre-orders, according to Musk's statement.

This is not the first time Musk has attended a Formula 1 event this year. In May, he and his son visited the Oracle Red Bull Racing team for the final practice day of the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Miami. There, Musk held a discussion about aero and battery technology and proposed an EV vs gas/hybrid race.
