Tesla Model 3 is an incredibly popular model and its appeal continues to grow. As Tesla deliveries continue to ramp up in 3Q 2020, August numbers show significant interest in the model around the world. Last month, the Dutch car market fell to -22% y/y, but the plug-in category continues to grow rapidly. So in August, 5,680 plug-in models were sold, which shows an increase of 75%, as a result of which their share was 21%, according to EV-Sales.
Last month, there was a close race in the Netherlands between the Tesla Model 3 and the Kia Niro EV.
