Tesla Cybertruck pre-orders have exceeded 2 million, according to crowdsourcing data. The pickup truck was unveiled at the end of 2019, and first deliveries are expected to take place in a few weeks.

Tesla customers are eagerly awaiting the start of Cybertruck deliveries. This can happen at any time. According to earlier information from Elon Musk, the first deliveries should take place in Q3 2023. This means that the long-awaited event may take place within the next two weeks.

In recent months, the number of Cybertrucks on US roads has increased significantly. In addition, earlier this week, one Tesla employee even told a customer that deliveries would begin in a few days. However, a few hours later, the employee clarified that these were their personal guesses and were not related to the company’s real plans. According to the crowdsourced online pickup truck reservation tracker, reservations for the steel beast have exceeded the two million threshold. This represents a huge number of pre-orders, never seen before for any vehicle. This emphasizes the uniqueness of Tesla and its design solution. The company was not afraid to make a car that is completely different from everything that is now on the roads. As the facts show, the risk paid off.

Cybertruck was first announced in November 2019. The start of its production was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which disrupted the economy for two years. Later, a tense geopolitical situation emerged, aggravating economic uncertainty. However, during this time, the desire to own Cybertruck among consumers continued to grow. Obviously, with the current number of orders, the company will be busy in production for the next four years just to satisfy them.
