Tesla is not only a leader in the design and construction of cars, energy storage systems, PV systems, hardware and software, but now also factories. For the company, a factory is not just a building—it is also a whole organism, an ecosystem, where advanced products and technologies are created and grown.

Each new Tesla plant is the result of massive planning and hard work, building on the accumulation of irreplaceable experience. Giga Berlin is being built using new construction methods, which depend on uniquely flexible planning and organization methods.

"We are currently building the most progressive series production facility in the world in Brandenburg," said Gigafactory team spokesman Alexander Riederer, on Thursday to MPs, reports berlin.de.

Apart from production buildings, Tesla also worries about infrastructure, so its development is a top priority. The California-based company is intensively coordinating its activities with the Department of Infrastructure, authorities and planning departments. "Now it is up to all of us to find the right solutions that create added value for the entire region," said Riederer to the MPs. Tesla has always clearly positioned itself to want to be part of the solution.

According to Riederer, the transport concept includes logistics coordination with railways. The company is also planning local supply chains for car manufacturing. Tesla wants to design, develop, and manufacture vehicles for the global market. This requires effective solutions that can be implemented quickly.

Among other things, the company also plans to build a motorway exit in the north to relieve the L38 state road. Tesla also believes that it is necessary to move the Fangschleuse train station further west and create an additional station in the south. “We need effective solutions that can be implemented quickly,” Riederer emphasized.

The company attaches particular importance to the expansion of bicycle paths. Cycling to work is more environmentally friendly.

Tesla also appreciates the importance of relationships and respect for local community. The press secretary of the state agency for economic development Alexander Gallrein expressed delight with the recent tweet of Tesla CEO Elon Musk, where he thanked Brandenburg and Grunheide. “Not every day such an entrepreneur thanks the state and society and does it publicly,” he said.
