Tesla Giga Berlin has welcomed 120 trainees this year. The manufacturer will continue to expand enrollment. Training for 2023 is already in preparation.

Tesla Giga Berlin is the largest employer in Brandenburg, offering high-paying jobs for both specialists from various fields and people without specialization. In addition, the company aims to provide not only jobs, but also places for training and dual training. Tesla told rbb on Friday that about 120 young people have started training at the Tesla center in Grünheide (Oder Spree).

The need for interns has skyrocketed since last year as the factory started operating in March 2022 and the company needed a large number of workers in certain specialties. At the moment, the need for employees has become even higher as Giga Berlin ramps up production.

According to Tesla, its Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg offers training in a total of 17 trades and also offers eight dual courses of study. According to the company, after the training, all interns are offered jobs with the possibility of further education. The main entry criterion is a qualifying high school/college diploma or a high school diploma.

Preparations for the 2023 academic year have already begun. According to Tesla, applications should be possible from this September.
