Tesla Giga Nevada is preparing a new batch of Semi trucks for delivery. They will reportedly be delivered to PepsiCo, which already has at least 36 of them in its fleet.
Tesla Semi is a subject of great interest. The electric truck has been highly anticipated and is able to solve a lot of the problems that the trucking segment faces these days. Dozens of large companies have placed orders for the Semi and are waiting for them to be completed. PepsiCo was the first to be lucky enough to receive the first deliveries. At a ceremony held on December 1, 2022, Tesla handed over 36 units to them, which are already in active use by the company.
At the moment, Semis are manufactured at Giga Nevada. A recent video from the site and comments have given us more information on the current production progress. @HinrichsZane/Twitter shared a video taken on January 10 showing two Tesla Semis parked outside a building between colorfully painted trailers. According to the description, there were eight trucks waiting for a final quality inspection before they were ready to be shipped to the customer. @HinrichsZane also reported seeing two more new Semis moving along I80 east from Giga Nevada.
Pepsi will continue to get new production for some time. They are a good partner for the beta-testing in real-world conditions. There is a tesla semi service center, manned my tesla technicians at the Pepsi facility. pic.twitter.com/SRIZALpfr1

@HinrichsZane said these Semis will be delivered to PepsiCo, who are still waiting for dozens of trucks of their large order of 100 units to be delivered. The company has become an excellent partner for Tesla in testing the Semi in the real world.
