Tesla Draws Thousands of Visitors at 2020 China International Auto Show in Changsha

Tesla is participating in the major 2020 China International Auto Show in Changsha. The manufacturer's stand is very popular, every day gathering thousands of visitors who want to get to know the company's cars better.

On December 9, 2020, the 16th China International Auto Show and Super Double 12 Consumer Festival (referred to as "Changsha International Auto Show") officially kicked off at Changsha International Exhibition Center. The Changsha International Auto Show will last six days and will close on December 14.

The organizing committee of the Show has prepared various subsidies for the purchase of cars by consumers on the spot. According to this, car purchases can receive not only preferential prices from manufacturers but also additional incentives from the organizing committee, which attracted even more people to attend the event.

Tesla presented Tesla Model X and Model 3 at the booth. As at other exhibitions, Tesla cars are attracting a lot of attention, as they are the most demanded electric vehicles in China. November data shows that Model 3 sales exceeded the combined sales of popular domestic competitors: BYD Han EV, Leading Ideal One, Xiaopeng P7, and Weilai ES6--amounting to 21,604 vehicles.

The Changsha International Auto Show has always been the driving force behind the development of the regional auto industry based on brand value. In previous auto shows, various concept cars from traditional car brands or expensive ultra-luxury sports cars that countless consumers have been looking for have fought for the first appearance in Changsha.
