Tesla will open a new Customer Service Center in London, Ontario to further enhance the satisfaction of car ownership and reduce the time it takes for owners to travel to the nearest service center, which is 63 miles out of town. To this end, the company bought a former Porsche dealership on Oxford Street West.

Tesla is actively expanding its presence all over the world. Along with the increase in the number of Superchargers, the company is increasing the number of customer service centers (Experience Centers), which combine a store, a delivery center, and a service center. The new location will soon appear in London, Ontario, as Tesla bought a former Porsche dealership.

London is part of Tesla's aggressive expansion plan amid rising sales. The company is now actively expanding in Canada. Within six months, Tesla will open about six new experience centers, according to Drive Tesla Canada.

Previously, residents of London and the surrounding area had to travel to Mississauga, Kitchener, which is 63 miles out of town, to buy and service their cars. But soon, this situation will change. Tesla bought the 1.5-acre site at 600 Oxford St.. There are two buildings on the property--a 12,678-square-foot main building with a large service area, as well as a 4,180-square-foot building.

“This is great news. I'm really happy,” said Don Millar, president of the London Electric Vehicle Association. “This will help in the adoption of electric vehicles. This will put pressure on car dealers in London to sell more electric vehicles here.”
