Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced that the manufacturer has finally launched the long-awaited Dogecoin payments. The company now accepts Dogecoin to pay for some items in its store, which has made many members of the Tesla and Dogecoin community happy.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced via Twitter that the company is now accepting Dogecoin (DOGE) as payment for the company's products. Some items in the Tesla Store can now be purchased with cryptocurrency DOGE. This demonstrates the company's commitment to develop and be flexible for the sake of customers, helping them pay for goods in a convenient way.

There are currently several items available in the Tesla Store that can be purchased with DOGE, all of which are Cybertruck themed. Cyberwhistle can be purchased for 300 DOGE, Cybertruck Graffiti Cuffed Beanie for 205 DOGE, Cybertruck Graffiti Trucker Hat for 200 DOGE, and now the very desirable Cyberquad for kids can be purchased for 12,020 DOGE. In addition, for 835 DOGE you can buy a Giga Texas Belt Buckle, which is a symbol of the factory where Cybertruck production will be located. All prices are indicated exclusively in Dogecoin, which is extremely convenient for payment and does not require additional calculations for customers. Goods that are sold in Dogecoin and not in dollars are subject to different rules. They cannot be canceled, returned, or exchanged for cash.

Within hours of the announcement, dozens of posts appeared on social media in which people raved about their DOGE purchases at the Tesla store. This move by the manufacturer has greatly pleased the large and friendly Dogecoin community, which has been impatiently waiting for the launch of this for a month, since Musk announced it on December 14.

Thanks to this news, the price of Dogecoin rose to a monthly high above $0.2 on Friday morning. At the time of writing, the price is $0.19.
