Shortly after the China-Made Tesla Model Y pricing announcement (Jan 1st 2021), now we have received more exclusive information and pictures.
A good number of the Tesla Model Y from Gigafactory Shanghai are being transported to many Tesla stores in different cities in China. One of the many Model Ys has now arrived at the Suzhou Tesla showroom.
We have learned that close to 300 units of the MIC (Made-in-China) Model Y were made recently at Gigafactory Shanghai, and all of them are for showcasing purposes.
"Many Chinese consumers are heading to the Tesla showrooms to checkout the MIC Model Y in the coming days, some locations will have the Model Y from Jan 2nd 2021," people familiar with the matter told Tesmanian.

The starting prices of the two variants (MIC Model Y) are 339,900 YUAN ($51,890 USD) for the long ranger version and 369,900 YUAN ($56,482 USD) for the performance version.
