The 2020 Tesla Model 3 wins the title of Top Rated EV in the Edmunds Top Rated Awards for 2021 for the second year in a row. According to an online automotive resource, no other vehicle can match the Model 3.
"Our winner from 2020, the Model 3 once again wears the crown as Edmunds Top Rated EV."
Edmunds noted that the Model 3 will win everyone over with its quick acceleration, nimble handling, and impressive practicality. The driving experience deserves special attention. Its instant acceleration arouses great admiration when you press the accelerator pedal. The large windshield, which flows smoothly into the glass roof, will provide unforgettable driving pleasure.
Model 3 does not have a traditional dashboard, there is no gas gauge, no tachometer, and no speed dial. Model 3 only has a large touchscreen that, combined with a minimalist interior, further enhances the car's modern design.
Special attention was paid to Tesla's over-the-air software updates, which allow you to receive the latest improvements without the need to visit a service center. At a time when any other car begins to lose its value immediately after purchase, Model 3, like any other Tesla, thanks to OTA updates, retains its value.
Model 3's range, even at the entry-level, is more than enough to meet the needs of most owners, which is a strong argument in its favor, especially when it starts to compare with other EVs. In addition, Tesla owners have access to a unique, extensive Supercharger network, making charging on long journeys much easier.
"Now in its fourth model year, the Tesla Model 3 manages to be efficient, luxurious and fun to drive. For those reasons and more, the Tesla Model 3 is Edmunds' top-rated Luxury Electric Vehicle for 2020."
For the evaluation, Edmunds used the 2020 model as they has not yet been able to access the 2021 model. The refreshed Model 3 features even more impressive additions that increase owner comfort and vehicle performance.
