In an effort to include electric vehicles in the royal fleet and to support his climate change work, Prince Charles bought Tesla Model S, and he was spotted with it a few days ago in London.

It seems that the luxury Tesla Model S has expanded the Prince Charles car collection. The prince has been photographed outside the King Edward VII's hospital in London as he paid a visit to his father, the Duke of Edinburgh. Prince Charles arrived in the Midnight Silver Metallic Model S, which seems to be a logical choice after he tested the car back in 2016.

Prince Charles has long been keen to make cars eco-friendly. Over 10 years ago, he converted his old Aston Martin to wine-based fuel. The prince’s other vehicles run on 100 percent biodiesel made from used cooking oil.

Several years ago, the Prince of Wales tested a luxury Tesla Model S on his Scottish estate, which Kimball Musk showed him. The prince personally hosted him and his fiancée at Dumfries House in Ayrshire over several days in 2016 as part of the test drive of a black Model S. After that, negotiations began in the prince's office.

In 2018, Prince Charles purchased his first electric car, opting for a local manufacturer and it turned out to be the Jaguar I-PACE. However, we can see that the royal is enjoying the ride in Tesla Model S.

Prince Charles is a longtime supporter of the fight against climate change. He has championed environmental concerns for decades and previously encouraged Commonwealth members to work together to tackle climate change. In January 2020, he called on business and political leaders to embrace a sustainable future at the Davos summit, where he also met with teenage climate activist Greta Thunberg. Now, one year later, Charles is back with the initiative’s first major project, a corporate sustainability pact called Terra Carta. He introduced the project during his virtual opening remarks at the One Planet Summit; Terra Carta calls for an economic recovery plan asking companies to contribute $10 million toward sustainable investment.
