Tesla Model Y became the best-selling EV in November in Switzerland, strengthening its position. The car remains the best-selling electric vehicle in the country for 11 months in 2022, with Model 3 in second place.

Tesla Model Y continues its victorious march across Europe. The strong production performance of Giga Shanghai as well as the growth of production at Giga Berlin led to impressive sales results in November. Tesla Model Y has already become the best-selling EV in the markets of several European countries, and data from Switzerland show that the country also has a clear preference for the compact SUV.

According to sales figures, which are currently only available for electric vehicles, Tesla Model Y became the best-selling EV in Switzerland in November, registering 736 units. In second place is Skoda Enyaq with 524 sales. Volkswagen ID. Buzz, with 322 registrations, came in third. In fourth place is Volkswagen ID.3 with 234 units sold. Closing out the top 5 is Renault Megan with 215 registrations.

Strong sales data in November cemented Tesla's position in the overall 2022 rankings. At the end of 11 months of 2022, Tesla Model Y became the best-selling electric car in Switzerland with 4,047 registered units, significantly outperforming all its competitors. It seems unlikely that any player other than Tesla Model 3 will be able to close the gap even if no Model Ys are sold in December. Tesla Model 3 comes in second with 3,145 units sold. In third place, with 2,447 units, is Skoda Enyaq. Audi E-Tron, with 1,563 registered cars, is in fourth place. Fiat 500E closes out the top five with 1,331 cars sold.
