Tesla Model Y, made in Germany at Giga Berlin, arrived in Taiwan and was delivered to the showroom. Information from a customer confirms that the first mass deliveries are scheduled for early December.

The first Tesla Model Y was delivered to Taiwan on October 14, 2022. @hsumacher/Twitter, the founder of the local Tesla club, shared a photo and information on the platform. According to the description, the photo was taken at the parking lot of Tesla Neihu Center. This may indicate that this vehicle will be used in a showroom for local customers to inspect in person.

In another tweet, @hsumacher said he expects delivery of his car next month. According to his order data, it should take place on December 5. @hsumacher has also confirmed that Model Y supplied for the Taiwan market will be manufactured at Giga Berlin, Germany and not at Giga Shanghai, China. He has attached a screenshot of his order, which includes the VIN assignment. The alphanumeric designation XP7 means that the car was made at Giga Berlin.

According to the trackers of ships carrying Tesla cars, the travel time from Germany to Taiwan is about four weeks. This means that a vessel loaded with Model Ys may already be on the way. @piloly/Twitter has confirmed that this month, no Giga Berlin-made vehicles have been registered in Norway, which may indicate that the vehicles have been shipped to other countries such as Taiwan, where they are expected by December 5.
