Tesla Model Y dominantly took over the top spot in Spain, becoming the best-selling EV in the country in November. The position of the car is so strong that its sales are three times higher than those of its nearest competitor.

Tesla continues to shine in the Spanish car market. Its Model Y was the top-selling electric vehicle, with 594 registrations, almost three times that of its closest competitor. In second place is Mini Cooper with 203 units sold, up significantly from last month. In third place is Hyundai Kona with 134 registrations. Fourth place, with a surprising boost, went to Renault Megane with 121 units sold, although this did not have a strong impact on its place in the overall standings of 2022. Closing out the top 5 is Volkswagen ID.4 with 120 registrations.

In November, there were new names at the top, except for the usual, Tesla Model Y. The regular market leaders lost their positions last month, giving way to new names. However, the short-lived success of some models did not significantly impact the result of all 11 months of 2022.

Tesla Model 3 continues to lead despite only 54 units being delivered to Spain in November. So, for 11 months of 2022, the company sold 2,393 units, becoming the absolute leader and significantly ahead of its closest competitor. In second place is Fiat 500E with 1,662 units. Tesla Model Y is gradually gaining momentum and took third place in the overall standings with 1,618 registrations. In fourth place is Kia Niro with 1,475 sales. Closing out the top five is Citroen E-C4 with 1,316 registrations.
