Tesla Giga Berlin will soon receive a final environmental building permit, of which it seems very confident. The company has now begun preparations for expansion in the Stamping Shop area.
Although the start of production at Giga Berlin has been significantly delayed, this does not mean that the manufacturer will slow down the pace of expansion in Germany. Tesla has gone through the toughest steps and is expected to soon receive a final building permit. According to recent reports, the process is in its final stage, and politicians say they see no real obstacles to full approval of the construction. This means that it is almost certain that the approval procedure for Giga Berlin will soon be completed and mass production will begin.
It seems that Tesla is also confident in a positive decision from the Ministry of Ecology of Brandenburg and is already showing steps towards further expansion of production capacities. According to @DerCaspar's/Twitter observations, the company has begun preparations for an expansion in the Stamping Shop area. Initially, this part was built but not completed—and looking at the factory building, it seemed that some part was missing. Now it appears that this will be corrected and the building will receive the missing part.
According to @TobiLindh's/Twitter observations, geoscrews (screw piles) are already near the site with the proposed expansion. Geoscrews is a new technological product that has many advantages, the main feature of which is the speed of installation and the ability to immediately start construction after installation in the ground. In Tesla's case, this is one of the key factors for the earliest possible completion of the unfinished construction.
While it is not yet known about the filing of documents for obtaining a building permit for this part, it is assumed that this will only happen after the final building permit for Phase 1 has been obtained. This is a logical step since the company does not need additional delays, which in Germany can easily stretch out to several more months.
