Tesla plans to expand service centers around the world in order to provide its customers with the best car ownership experience. The company now seeks commercial real estate professionals for service center expansion in the Northeast US region.
A few days ago, the company posted the position of Real Estate Manager (Northeast U.S.) on its website. The job description states:
"You will be responsible for increasing the footprint of locations supporting the specified line of business in your designated region. You will also collaborate cross functionally with internal teams including Sales, Service, Retail Development, Construction and Design as well as Legal, Finance and Lease Administration and external partners including landlords, developers, brokers and advisers to lead and complete new location development."

After taking office, the specialist will need to collect and assess economic, demographic, and other data to identify key markets and priorities, and then penetrate new real estate markets, determining the ideal location for Tesla's development.
Tesla began searching for new locations in July in Los Gatos/Campbell (CA), South Atlanta, Glendale/NW Phoenix (AZ), Naples (FL), and Puerto Rico. This indicates the strengthening of the company's measures regarding service. The number of Tesla owners is growing every day, so this step is logical.
In addition, service centers are one of Tesla's biggest assets in driving demand and improving the car ownership experience. People feel more comfortable buying cars if there is a service center nearby that can help resolve issues that might arise.
