Tesla Teams Up with Swissquote Online Banking to Provide Leasing Service in Switzerland

In Switzerland, leasing is a very popular method of financing a new car. At the same time, electric vehicles are becoming the focus of government attention in many countries around the world, especially recently. Swiss online bank Swissquote proposes a new development in partnership with Tesla, and launches a new online car leasing service.

In a press release, the online bank promises customers that their lease requests will be processed quickly. The goal is to make funding Tesla as easy as running it, reported AtoZ Markets.

"Swissquote is launching a new online leasing offering in collaboration with Tesla.

Swissquote is thus expanding its activities in the credit sector. Leasing is a popular option for the purchase of new cars in Switzerland. Swissquote is focusing on a market trend that is moving decisively towards electric cars, aiming to make financing a Tesla as effortless as driving one. With Swissquote's entry into the leasing market, customers can now benefit from an enhanced digital experience that enables a swift processing of their leasing requests."

Customers will customize their Tesla on the company's website, a Swissquote spokeswoman said. They can then choose online banking as a leasing option as a leasing partner. Swissquote is a “premium partner” when it comes to leasing with Tesla.

Swissquote did not provide further information on the potential volume of the new leasing business. The first numbers will be announced when the annual financial statements are released in March 2021, the spokeswoman said.
