Tesla continues to expand in Germany. The new Tesla Center, which is the largest in the country, has opened in Hamburg. It is modeled after China Experience Centers, and integrates sales, delivery, and service all under one roof.

Hamburg’s new Tesla Center is located at Helbingtwiete 4/8, on 70,000 square feet, and spans two floors. It is the largest company site of its kind in Germany.

At the new Experience Center, customers can learn more about Tesla's Model S, 3 and X electric vehicles, the technology the company is using, sign up for a test drive, or drop off their vehicles for service.

The new service center in Hamburg replaces Tesla's previous service center in Valvo Park at Essener Strasse. Tesla stresses: "Thanks to the high level of digitization of vehicles and operational processes, test drives, deliveries and service appointments are largely possible without physical contact with employees."

Previously, Tesla primarily relied on showrooms in central German metropolitan areas to grow company and product awareness, and service was mostly located on the outskirts. Now there is a new strategy: given the brand’s wide popularity, city stores are no longer relevant.
