Tesla is an important part of the development of the global automotive market and the construction of the company's factory in Germany will make a huge contribution to the development of the entire country. German politicians have already repeatedly welcomed the manufacturer and now the Federal Minister of Transport and Digital Infrastructure of Germany met with Elon Musk at Giga Berlin.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk is now in Germany on a visit, during which he met with the Federal Minister of Transport and Digital Infrastructure of Germany Andreas Scheuer. This meeting, which took place at Giga Berlin, demonstrates that Tesla's new factory and its impact on the German automotive industry is of true national importance. The meeting took place on the evening of May 17 and its details remain unknown. However, Scheuer shared a photo of it on his Instagram account and wrote that the future is being created here in Brandenburg.

The construction of the factory itself has already created thousands of jobs, and their number continues to grow as the start of production is already nearing the beginning. Tesla has already begun hiring a team to begin work as soon as the final environmental building permit is received. In connection with adding a battery factory into the construction plans, the permit issuance may be delayed for a period of about three months, according to the assumption of German politicians. However, Musk and his team hope that the first batch of made-in-Germany Model Ys will start rolling off the assembly line in 2021.
