Franz von Holzhausen with Cybertruck Join Tesla China Design Team Recruit Video for Possible Localized $25K Model

Tesla continues to expand in China, aiming to create a complete structure that not only builds vehicles from the company's developers in the United States but also develops its own products that best suit the needs of the local market. Tesla China is once again recruiting for a number of design development positions at its Design Center. And now, Franz von Holzhausen and Cybertruck just starred in a new recruit video.

Throughout 2020 and in mid-January 2021, Tesla's team in China recruited extensively for the Design Center. Now, in support of the company's continued efforts to develop a new model in China, Tesla filmed a recruiting video that features Senior Design Executive at Tesla Franz von Holzhausen and the iconic Cybertruck.

While Franz is painting graffiti on the wall, a woman comes up to him and says: "Franz, come check this design." Looking at the tablet for the new design Franz asks: "Who did this?" The action takes place against the background of a parked Cybertruck, who appears in the frame for just a few seconds.

According to Tesla CEO Elon Musk, some of the world's finest works of art were created in China, so he believes projects created in China will also be popular around the world. The Chinese have always been distinguished by originality, speed, and intelligence, so China is a great place to develop, create, and implement the most original and unexpected solutions.
