Elcome International LLC, a marine electronics solutions provider, became an authorized SpaceX Starlink reseller for its global maritime customers in January. This week, the company announced it is now offering a leasing plan for SpaceX Starlink Maritime service at sea.

Elcome strives towards delivering cost-effective and technologically advanced connectivity solutions to their maritime customers Elcome’s leasing plan is priced at $460 per month, it includes SpaceX's Starlink Flat High-Performance kit and a 50GB data allowance. Starlink Maritime offers a multitude of advantages over traditional solutions. In comparison to other providers, Starlink offers superior satellite coverage and performance at a lower price, ensuring uninterrupted, high-speed internet access through SpaceX's Starlink satellite constellation in Low Earth Orbit.

Asneed Ameer, the Connectivity Manager at Elcome, expressed pride about the partnership with SpaceX’s Starlink division. –“Elcome is proud to be at the forefront of the maritime internet revolution. Our new Starlink Maritime leasing plan embodies our commitment to delivering advanced, affordable maritime communication solutions,” they stated on July 11.
Customers opting for the Elcome-Starlink partnership will enjoy the added benefit of 24/7 customer support as part of Elcome’s “Fleet Broadband” solution. The plan also gives maritime users a unique feature to manage their crews data usage. This unique offering allows administrators to have control over data usage onboard sea-going vessels, to manage resources cost-effectively. Elcome says this feature sets it apart from its competitors in the maritime connectivity sector.
