Q2 2021 Financial Results promise to be very interesting. Over the past quarter, Tesla produced and delivered more than 200,000 vehicles for the first time in its history, another milestone for the manufacturer on the road to its global domination of the world's automotive market. In Q2 the company actively developed and began delivering the first Model S Plaid units. In addition, Giga Shanghai continued to expand production capacity and increased the number of exported vehicles, adding a number of new countries to the list. This growth comes against the backdrop of an ongoing worldwide shortage of microchips, as Tesla was able to negotiate suppliers. While competitors are forced to suspend production, Tesla continues to steadily increase it.
