Tesla has finally begun construction of its first Supercharger in Lithuania. The new charging station will be built as part of the global expansion of its charging network.

Tesla's Supercharger Network allows Tesla drivers to charge their vehicles quickly and conveniently. This unique network is considered a significant competitive advantage for the company as it improves customer experience and reduces concerns about EV range.

The construction of Superchargers in Lithuania was announced in 2016, but unfortunately local Tesla owners were forced to use charging stations from other operators. However, now, as part of the global expansion of the charging network, the company began construction of the first Supercharger in the country.

The new charger station is located near Kaunas, the second largest and most important city in Lithuania, at Inovacijų g 1, Biruliškės, Kaunas FEZ. Tesla has already begun construction work, which means that the opening should take place in the near future. According to information from 100ProcentuElektrinis.lt/Facebook, six stalls will be opened there, with the possibility of expanding to eight.

The photographs show that the construction is in an active phase: trenches were dug, concrete structures were installed, on which a Supercharger would then be installed and plastic pipes, in which electrical wires would pass, were partially laid.
