Data from China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) on August 11 (Beijing time): Tesla China has delivered 11,014 units of the Model 3, made locally at Gigafactory Shanghai during the month of July. This also means Model 3 is the best selling BEV in China. 

This also highlights that Giga Shanghai is off to an incredible start for Q3 2020. It is well-understood that Tesla ramps up deliveries towards the end of the quarter. When we look back to the first month of the prior quarter (April)--for a more meaningful comparison--Tesla delivered 3,635 made-in-China Model 3s. July's delivery count then represents a stunning 200%+ growth compared to that time.

Additionally, as we reported earlier today on production figures: 

Giga Shanghai-made Tesla Model 3 became number one in production (NEV) in the month of July 2020 in China--data provided by GGII.
