Tesla again pleases its customers with a surprise for the event. For the July 4 holiday weekend, the company is giving away free off-peak charging at Superchargers located on several US routes.

Tesla is known for its generosity, as it occasionally offers free chargers or other gifts to its customers. This usually happens when the manufacturer wants to help consumers or make them happy during holidays and events. July 4 will be Independence Day in the United States, so the manufacturer will provide free charging for the holiday weekend. Americans will be able to visit their loved ones and friends to celebrate a significant date together without spending money on charging their Tesla cars.

Free charging will be provided during off-peak hours, but it will be a different time for each state. In addition to being a pleasant surprise for customers, it will also help offload traffic on the Superchargers during the day and make charging more enjoyable for customers. The offer is valid from Friday, June 1, 2022, to Monday, July 4, 2022.

Free supercharging will not be available everywhere, but only on certain routes, in five states: Arizona, California, Nevada, Oklahoma, and Texas. The largest number of free Superchargers are traditionally found in California, with 21 of them. This is due to the fact that residents of the state are the most active fans of the manufacturer; the Tesla ownership percentage of Californians is the highest in the country.
