Tesla has begun expanding its influence in the Asia/Pacific region. In addition to Australia, the company has launched a Model Y order page in Japan, Singapore, and New Zealand. Deliveries are scheduled for 2022, in all regions in different months.

Returning to full production capacity, Giga Shanghai is stepping up efforts to expand Tesla's regions of influence. On Friday morning, the company launched the Model Y order pages in a number of countries in the Asia/Pacific region. This made Tesla's customers very happy, who had been waiting for this day for several years. After it became known that Tesla began selling Model Y in Australia, a number of people told Tesmanian that the order pages were also active in Japan, Singapore, and New Zealand.

In all countries, Tesla offers only the basic version of Model Y and Performance. At the moment, it is not known when the Long Range version will become available for order. The very first deliveries are scheduled starting in August, although the timing is subject to change depending on the overall situation and the ability of Giga Shanghai to continue ramping up production.

In Singapore, the base Model Y is available for SGD 142,271 (approximately USD 102,560). Model Y Performance will cost SGD 189,995 Singapore dollars (about USD 137,000). The estimated delivery time for both versions is scheduled for late 2022.

In Japan, the base Model Y will cost JPY 6,290,000 (about USD 46,846). The estimated delivery time is scheduled for August-September 2022. The Performance version will cost JPY 8,190,000 (about USD 61,000). The estimated delivery time is scheduled for the second half of 2022.

In New Zealand, the base Model Y will cost NZD 78,243 (about USD 49,700). The estimated delivery time is the same as for Australia: August-September 2022. The Performance option will cost NZD 110,943 (around USD 70,480). The estimated delivery time is scheduled for November 2022 - February 2023.
