Car rental service Virtuo has announced that it has added Tesla Model Y to its fleet. The compact SUV will join another electric vehicle, Tesla Model 3.

Virtuo announced that it has replenished its fleet of vehicles with a new car from Tesla. The service is presenting the opportunity to rent Model Y, writing that everyone loves Tesla cars, and that is why they replenished Virtuo's car fleet. The compact SUV joins the Model 3 already offered by the service. Car renters in London will be able to order Model Y with delivery and collection, starting at £72 per day. In addition, the car will also be available to Virtuo customers in Paris.

“You love Tesla. We love Tesla. Everybody loves Tesla! So we've added the Tesla Model Y to the Virtuo fleet!”

Virtuo has made a commitment to have 50% of its fleet be electric vehicles by 2025, and move to an all electric fleet by 2030. At the moment, after the latest replenishment, Virtuo’s car fleet in London has become 40% electric. The company continues to expand in the UK with new branches in Brighton, Manchester, and Edinburgh Airport. Electric vehicles will become the backbone of the car fleet to offer renters only the best.

Karim Kaddoura, CEO & co-founder of Virtuo, said: “We’re incredibly excited to continue our EV expansion here in the UK and offer our customers the best possible experience in a growing number of locations. We want to provide a service that can ultimately facilitate car free cities. We’ve taken great strides at the start of 2022, and we have no plans of slowing down our journey to be the leading car on-demand experience.”
