Tesla launched an order configurator in Singapore in February with very attractive prices compared to some of the other options, whether electric vehicles or their gasoline counterparts. The first model available to order in Singapore was Model 3 Standard Range and Performance. In fact, the first handover of cars to customers took place five months after the resumption of sales. According to available data, only a small number of vehicles have been delivered, however, more are planned to be transferred in the coming days. All cars are manufactured at Giga Shanghai, which has now become Tesla's export hub.
In parallel with the start of deliveries and the launch of the Service Center, the Californian manufacturer also recently opened the very first Supercharger in the country. Tesla's new Supercharger site is located in Orchard Central shopping center at 181 Orchard Rd on the ninth level. The charging station consists of three 250kW stalls with more to be installed in the coming months.
