On Thursday, Tesla opened its first pop-up store in Tel Aviv to attract new customers and increase interest and awareness of its electric vehicles, which began selling in Israel in February.
The pop-up store is located at Ramat Aviv Mall, Einstein St 40, Tel Aviv, and will be open for three months. It provides "an opportunity for future owners to see the Model 3 up close and meet Tesla employees," the company said in a statement. Since the start of Tesla Model 3 sales in Israel, all marketing efforts of the company have been focused only on the Internet and in the company's call center. In fact, the first wave of orders came from those people who were already familiar with Tesla and had long been waiting for its cars to enter the country's market. However, the company is now focusing on disseminating information about its vehicles more widely.
Tesla Model 3 is presented on display. Potential Israeli buyers have the opportunity to inspect the car, as well as ask questions about it to a company representative. For those unfamiliar with the company's vehicles, such communication can greatly increase awareness and stimulate their purchase in the future.
Tesla began selling cars in Israel in early February and delivered the first batch of 120 vehicles to customers in March. Also, last month the company opened its first Supercharger in Azrieli in Tel Aviv with a power of 250 kW. Two more will open soon in Haifa and Eilat, further enhancing customer satisfaction with Tesla car ownership. Tesla Model S and Model X are slated for delivery in Q4 2021. Model Y will also be available to order soon, according to the company.
