Tesla opened its first store and service center in Yucatan. This is the fourth store in Mexico, becomes part of the global expansion plan of the company. The governor of the state visited the facility, spoke with representatives of the company, and tested Tesla Model 3 on the road.
Tesla opened its first experience center in Yucatan, which combines a store, service center, and charging stations. An Experience Center will open in Merida at Prolongación Montejo, in the Grupo Dicas complex. The arrival of Tesla in Merida was a big surprise not only for the region but for the whole country, since the news about this was not published by the media either nationally or locally.
Tesla hired specialists in the field of mechanical engineering, mechatronics, and electronics to work in the service center. In the sales area, vacancies were filled by professionals with extensive knowledge of new technologies.
The important site for the region was visited by the Governor of Yucatan, Mauricio Vila Dosal. He was delighted that the state is once again at the forefront in terms of innovation and sustainable mobility with Tesla’s arrival there. Vila Dosal assured that the state is once again in the spotlight nationally and internationally in technology and sustainable development. During the visit, it was explained that through its activities, the brand creates a significant number of specialized jobs for the residents of Yucatan. The Governor got to explore Model 3 and even test drove it.
