Recently it became known about Tesla's extensive recruitment in Thailand, where the company plans to start selling its cars. Job interviews will take place during the Walk-In Recruitment Day from September 16 to 17.
In early September, it became known that Tesla began hiring in Thailand. All positions indicated that the manufacturer plans to start its operations in the country with a store, a delivery center, and a service center there, which will possibly be united under one roof, as well as the Supercharger network. The recruitment was carried out for 14 key positions, all of which were located in the capital of the country—Bangkok. As of September 11, two more positions have been added, one in customer service and the other in charging infrastructure planning.
Now Teslarati has found the info that interviews for some of the positions listed on the website will take place during the Walk-In Recruitment Day, which will take place from September 16 to 17—that is, at the end of next week. The event will take place at All Seasons PIace, 87/3 Wireless Road, Lumpini Pathumwan, Bangkok 10330 from 12:00pm – 4:00pm. Applicants must bring a resume with them. It should be kept in mind that recruitment for various positions will take place on different days.
On September 16, Tesla is hiring for the following roles:
Sales/Store manager
Delivery Operations Advisor
Service Manager
Charging Deployment Manager
Consumer Engagement Manager
Public Policy & Business Development Manager
On September 17, Tesla is hiring for the following roles:
Sales Advisor
Inside Sales Advisor
Delivery Operations Advisor
Customer Support Specialist
Documents dated April 25, 2022, showed that Tesla had registered to start selling cars, solar panels, and energy storage systems in Thailand. The application was signed by Tesla's Global Senior Director of Trade Market Access, David Jon Feinstein. The company has indicated that it is registering for sales of new passenger motor vehicles, pick-up trucks, vans, and similar light motor vehicles.
