Tesla Will Start To Deliver Model Y In Canada Later This Month

The long-awaited Tesla Model Y deliveries to Canada will begin this month (June).

Drive Tesla Canada reports that it has received confirmation that deliveries will begin “in the next few weeks”, but the exact date has not yet been announced. This information was provided by an employee of Tesla. As well as in the USA, those who ordered the Performance configuration will be able to get the car at the beginning, although the delivery of the Long Range should also begin this month, but later.

According to the report, a Tesla employee said they were hoping to get a Model Y demonstration car for their Tesla Park Royal showroom in Vancouver. It should be available for viewing and test-drives also starting this month.

Tesla confirmed the report and officially published a statement for the Tesla Owners Vancouver group on Facebook.

Delivery will be made according to the date of booking. Customers who completed an order earlier will receive delivery of their Model Y in the first place. Later reservations will be placed in the queue and will move up based on changes in the list. So, if the client who made the order earlier decided to change some configurations, for example, add 7 seats, or cannot accept delivery, then the orders placed behind him will process faster.
