The Boring Company proposed 2.2 mile tunnel along New River in Fort Lauderdale is officially approved and now looking at feasibility studies to begin work.
The tunnel will take people in Teslas through The Boring Tunnel transit to the beach. The idea is that using underground tunnels will preserve the neighborhoods above ground. The ability to park and ride to the beach in less than 5 minutes will make the straight-shot more convenient for tourists and less bothersome for residents.
