In addition to iOS, Twitter Blue is now available for users with Android devices. The feature will be rolled out to all users on both operating systems in all six current markets where it is offered.

Finally, Twitter users with Android devices got their long-awaited access to Twitter Blue, the platform announced on Thursday. After the updated feature launched in November, it was only available to iOS users, and later to web users. This caused frustration and dissatisfaction among Android users, who will now get long-awaited access to Twitter Blue.

Like iOS users, Android users will need to pay $11 per month (in the US). This is higher than the $8 you have to pay for a web subscription. The higher price is because the platform avoids paying fees for purchases on Google Play and the Apple Store.

At the moment, in addition to the monthly subscription, Twitter has also offered an annual subscription plan for those who subscribe via the web version. The subscription price is $84 per year in the US, but prices vary for other countries. The Twitter Blue plan is now available on platforms in six countries: US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan, which was added earlier this month.

Country iOS Pricing (Monthly) Android Pricing (Monthly) Web Pricing (Monthly) Web Pricing (Annually)
United States $11.00 USD $11.00 USD $8.00 USD $84.00 USD
United Kingdom £11.00 GBP £11.00 GBP £8.00 GBP £84.00 GBP
Canada $15.00 CAD $15.00 CAD $10.00 CAD $105.00 CAD
Australia $19.00 AUD $19.00 AUD $13.00 AUD $135.00 AUD
New Zealand $19.00 NZD $19.00 NZD $13.00 NZD $135.00 NZD
Japan ¥1,380 JPY ¥1,380 JPY ¥980 JPY ¥10,280 JPY

Twitter Blue subscribers currently get features such as the blue checkmark, the ability to download longer videos, priority ranking in conversation replies, a thread reader, the ability to edit tweets, and custom icons and themes.
