Ukraine is launching a museum hosting NFTs depicting Russian war crimes on the country's territory. The collection was created in order to preserve the memory of the war. All proceeds will be used to finance the Ukrainian armed forces and support the population of the country.

“While Russia uses tanks to destroy Ukraine, we rely on revolutionary blockchain tech. @Meta_History_UA NFT-Museum is launched. The place to keep the memory of war. And the place to celebrate the Ukrainian identity and freedom,” said Mykhailo Fedorov, Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.

The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine has launched an online museum of non-fungible tokens (NFT), which aims to preserve the chronology of major events, starting with the invasion of the Russian military into the country in the early hours of February 24. The events depicted in the NFTs begin at 5:45 am local time on the day that Russia announced a “special military operation” in the Donbas, although in fact it was the beginning of a full-scale war, and launched a series of missile attacks on many Ukrainian cities.

Russian forces have launched a major assault on Ukraine, firing missiles on cities and military targets. The invasion by land, air and sea began after a pre-dawn TV address where Russian President Vladimir Putin demanded that Ukraine's military lay down its arms. META HISTORY Museum of War

So far, the museum's website contains 54 NTFs depicting the horrors of the first three days of the war. NFTs include various events and sources based on tweets from government officials, photos from news outlets, and responses from world leaders.

The sale kicks off on March 30, and the proceeds from the sale in Ethereum (ETH) will be used to support the Ukrainian armed forces and civilians. “We will never let any single day of this period disappear from the ledger of world history,” the museum wrote.

One of the important goals of this collection is to combat disinformation and propaganda in the Russian state media. Russian state media's goal is to distort reality, force Russians to support the cruel terrorist actions of the Kremlin and deceive the whole world, exposing Ukrainians as Nazis, which is completely untrue.
