Tesla officially enters the Israeli market in 2021 offering luxury cars to customers. Preparations for the launch of activities are progressing rapidly and the complex, which includes offices, a showroom and a body repair shop, will soon be open to the public.
In mid-October, Tesmanian reported that Tesla is in talks to create its first service center in Israel, which could be located next to the Kiryat Arye industrial park in Petah Tikva. Representatives of the company have discussed with developers properties suitable for purchase because Tesla was focused on creating a modern Experience Center that can also offer technical support for vehicles.
The American electric vehicle manufacturer is currently close to completing its new headquarters and showroom in Israel. The complex, which will house offices, a showroom and a body repair shop, is located at 32 Efal Street in Kiryat Arie, Petah Tikva, next to Direct Insurance offices and a BMW service garage, Globes reports.
The new building was specially built for Tesla. Activity at the site has been observed to accelerate in the past few weeks. The company logo is already on the roof of the building, although construction is expected to be completed in a few weeks. The facility is designed according to the model of Tesla Experience Centers, where customers can see all the car models on offer and learn about the brand values. All sales will take place online and not in the showroom itself.
Tesla previously rented a former Ferrari showroom at Beit Cardan in Tel Aviv but decided to move to Petah Tikva, a suburban area, in fall 2020. However, this step is aimed at making the experience of buying and owning a Tesla even better. All sales will be online anyway, but access to Petah Tikva is more convenient. Gradually, the company is expected to open more showrooms in the Gush Dan region and other commercial centers.
