Based on a recent document filed by Tesla China to Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the Tesla Model 3 from Gigafactory Shanghai will soon come with complete "chrome delete.”

"Chrome delete" is any vinyl wrap that lets you hide (or delete) the chrome trim that so many car manufacturers insist on putting around windows, grilles, and just about anywhere they can think of.

The latest Tesla Model Y already comes delivered with full "chrome delete,” replacing all chrome trims with factory matte black paint.

Window Trims 
Mirror supports
Door Handles 
AP Turn Signals

Will Fremont follow suit with Model 3 chrome delete in the US? We suspect so.
