Tesla Starts Showcasing Model 3 in Greek Shopping Mall, Ready to Enter Local Market

Tesla has entered the Greek market and is preparing to open a pop-up store and service center in Athens. With the company's electric vehicles now officially available in the country, Tesla has set up the first pop-up stand in Athens.

Tesla's booth is located in the Golden Hall. It began operation on September 4, and over the next three months, visitors will have the opportunity to get to know Model 3 up-close and personal. The Tesla booth will be open until December 3, 2020, from Monday to Saturday from 11 am to 8 pm.

“Over the next three months, visitors will have the opportunity to take a closer look at Tesla vehicles and learn about the Tesla philosophy that is redefining the 21st-century car with the highest safety ratings, more autonomy and exemption from exhaust emissions,” the Golden Hall announcement said.

“Designed and built as the world's first mass-market electric vehicle, the Model 3 is an important step for Tesla towards sustainable energy use.”

One Model 3 is located right at the entrance to the mall, and another is inside. In addition to viewing the vehicle, visitors have the option to book a test drive where they learn about Tesla's philosophy and "experience the thrill of the Model 3 and other leading Tesla[s], Model X and Model S vehicles."

The pop-up store will open in the next quarter for potential Tesla buyers to see and test Model 3, Model S, and Model X. The service center is expected to be ready before Tesla cars ship to Greece in November, so local Tesla owners can soon begin accessing hassle-free service for their vehicle. The first Tesla Supercharger station is slated to launch in Greece by the end of 2020.

It seems that the company is fully prepared to enter the Greek market.
